Denali Moon 10″ x 8″

No matter what time of year it is, I always seem to be chasing daylight and trying to find as much of this amazing sunshine as I can.  Late summer light has this beautiful way of changing those colours I have seen all day on my hikes. The mountains and glacial blues seem charged with light. The alpine wildflowers, lichens and mosses glow more as the light dims. These wild blue flowers are a reminder to me of the Alaska State flower – Forget-me-nots – that somehow mimic the blue, blue sky.
