Mt Royal above the Wind River, Yukon 36″ x 16″

Not wanting to leave the mountains just yet, this hike sent us scrambling up and away from the river.  Towering granite tors, lush alpine meadows, and all those long, narrow channels of rock dropped 1000ft or more down to the river.  On this hot, beautiful day, food and water the only things luring us back down to our camp in the valley bottom.
